We all know that macaroni and cheese and lasagna are a few of our favorite shirataki noodle recipes. The largest reason that many of us do not serve this favorite pasta up daily, weekly or monthly is because of the high calorie and fat content that are in these entrees. What if I gave you a low calorie option so that you and your family could enjoy these pasta dishes more often? That is right the no calorie food makes this all possible. So go ahead and indulge as often as you like it may be that you find your waistline slimming down instead of increasing with these miracle noodle recipes.

Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

1 Cup of Sour Cream, full fat, light or fat free to fit your waistline
We need to buy shirataki noodles and get 3 Packages of Miracle Rice, Angel Hair Pasta or the Fettuccine pasta. If you use the angel hair or fettuccine they will need to be cut down to size.
1/2 Cup of Milk
4 Tablespoons of butter and 2 Tablespoons will be for the topping
3 Eggs and one will be for the topping
1 Package of Ritz Crackers
1 Cup of Cheddar Cheese
1 Cup of Vermont Cheddar Cheese
3 Tablespoons of flour
Salt and Pepper for taste
¼ Cup of Parmesan Cheese

First place the butter and the milk in the bowl and then begin adding in flour whisking it as you enter it into the liquid. Make sure that you have melted the butter first. Beat your eggs and then mix them in. Add in the salt and pepper for taste. Now add in the miracle noodles and if you are using the angel hair or fettuccine noodles make sure they are cut to the right size at this point. Last we will want to place in the cheeses of our choice. In a separate bowl we want to crush the crackers and put them in a bowl then add in the egg, the salt and pepper again for taste and the last two Tablespoons of melted butter. Then add in the Parmesan cheese to this mix. Mix this all together real well with your hands. Now it is ready to bake in the oven at 375 degrees for about twenty five minutes or until the top is lightly browned.

Lasagna

First we will need ½ of a pound of lean ground beef and ½ of a pound of ground chicken or turkey. If you are going to make vegetarian style lasagna then just leave this out of the recipe.
One small yellow onion and one shallot diced into small pieces.
Three vine ripened tomatoes that we are going to dice up.
One sixteen ounce container of Ricotta cheese, if you are watching you fat intake please get the low fat version.
Two Tablespoons of fresh basil or dried if the fresh is not available.
Two Tablespoons of Oregano and again I prefer the fresh if it is in my supermarket.
If not then we can always utilize the dried herbs or even use an Italian herb blend.
If you enjoy salt and pepper this can be added for your individual taste I do not use it in my recipe however.
A single packet of stevia or use 2 Tablespoons of sugar if you do not enjoy this alternative sweetener choice
One cup of chopped fresh or frozen spinach
Two cups of mozzarella, cheddar and Parmesan cheese all mixed together.

So if you want to make a real easy version of this lasagna recipe then just grab yourself a large jar of spaghetti sauce at the store. You will not need the onion, shallot, herbs or the tomatoes. It just depends on how homemade you want it to be honestly. It does basically the same job with the ingredients.

Now since the shirataki noodles are not real thick I do this a little bit different.

In a fry pan I am going to cook my meat or meats if you are using more than one. Then I am going to mix in the onions, shallot, herbs, and tomatoes or the jar of spaghetti sauce. I will also melt in the ricotta cheese at this time and the sugar or stevia and the spinach. Now put in a dash of salt and pepper just to taste.

Get a 9x13 inch baking dish and grease the bottom so the pasta does not stick to the bottom after it is done baking. Place a nice layer of noodles on top of the greased dish. Place a layer of your meat mixture and top it with some of the three cheese blend. It is time to add another layer of the miracle noodles. The more of these the less calories in the entire entree since they have no calories, remember. One more layer of the meat mixture and then finally the final layer of noodles. Sprinkle the remainder of the three cheese blend on top. Place it in the oven and let it bake at three hundred and fifty degrees for thirty minutes. You are going to love this meal.
